About the Alseres POET-2 Program

Parkinson or Essential Tremor (POET-2) is a Phase III, clinical program to evaluate the safety and efficacy of an investigational molecular imaging agent used with SPECT imaging that could potentially distinguish Parkinsonian Syndrome tremor from non-Parkinsonian or Essential Tremors.

The first part of this Phase III program (AIM1 Clinical Trial) is a multi-center, open-label, out-patient clinical trial of up to 90 subjects, both male and female, 40 years of age or older. This trial is for subjects with tremor of less than 2 years and with an uncertain clinical diagnosis. The images collected from this part of the trial will be used to train the radiologists (expert readers) for the second part of this trial.

The AIM Clinical trial is currently enrolling. Subjects for this trial can be referred by their physician or can contact a participating site directly. For more information, call 1.781.939.0799 or go to the trial listing on clinicaltrials.gov.
